Kolping Youth Europe developed a new digital offer that aims to initiate an exchange about different topics and projects that are relevant for young Kolping members. The “Kolping Talks” are also an opportunity for young people from different countries to connect with each other during the pandemic. In February and March 2021, the first two “Kolping Talks” will take place and inform about Kolping in Africa and Honduras.
The board of Kolping Youth Europe has invited Alain Serge Baba (Kolping Cameroon) and Paulinus Ezechukwu Kanu (Kolping Nigeria) to talk about the activities of youth groups in their countries on February 25th. The participants will have the opportunity to learn more about Kolping Youth in Africa and ask questions in an informal atmosphere. One month later, on March 25th, Patrycja Kwapik and Magdalena Szczudlo (Kolping Poland) will share their experience from a project cooperation with Kolping Honduras. Participants will get to know more about the production of fair-trade coffee and how Kolping is involved in this process.
Both “Kolping Talks“ start at 18:30 CET and last for 60-90 minutes. The main language is English. Everyone who is interested can register via email (contact@kolpingyoutheurope.com) or by confirming the participation via Facebook (see link). The topics of future “Kolping Talks” will be announced via www.kolpingyoutheurope.com.
